Summit Challenge
In an exciting clash at Ballycasey Clare Oval, Clare Cricket Club outplayed Knight Cricket Club by 25 runs. Batting first, Clare CC posted a competitive 165/5 in 20 overs, with Rajeev Deshmukh (47 off 35) and Varun Chatterjee (38 off 22) leading the charge. Knight CC struggled in the chase, losing wickets at regular intervals despite a fighting 42 off 29 from Ethan Doyle.
The star of the match was Ankit Sharma, whose brilliant 4/18 in 3.5 overs dismantled the Knights’ middle order, sealing the win for Clare CC. A strong all-round performance ensured they defended their total successfully, handing them a well-deserved victory!
